Somme Society will be a physical marketplace designed to bring online small businesses into a vibrant, community-driven brick-and-mortar space. By partnering with e-commerce entrepreneurs and providing them with a low-risk opportunity to sell their goods and services in person, Somme Society aims to create a hub for unique, locally crafted products in the North Shore of Chicago.
Initially, the business will focus on temporary booths at farmers markets, outdoor festivals, and other high-visibility events, with plans to establish a permanent location in the future. Our business model includes flexible partnership packages that allow small businesses to expand their reach and build brand recognition without the challenges of managing their own retail space. Additionally, Somme Society aspires to be a place for the local community to discover and connect with small businesses in their area, fostering stronger ties between makers and their neighbors.
